But, there’s a catch. Look out for a sign on the table that says “Blackjack Pays 6:5”. In a normal blackjack game, a “natural” or blackjack pays 3:2. If you bet $10 and draw a blackjack, you’ll be paid $15. However, at these new 6:5 games, a $10 blackjack wins only $12. Odds are that you won’t find every favorable rule in a single 6 to 5 blackjack game. But most casinos will offer multiple favorable rules to help make up for the 6:5 payouts. Assuming you play at a 6:5 blackjack table with all the other rules being optimal, you’re still facing a 1.02% house edge with perfect strategy. Avec le Blackjack 6:5, l’avantage du casino est de 1,4 %. Ce qui est très élevé, lorsque l’on sait que celui de la version classique plafonne à 0,5 %. I would estimate that 10% of "21" tables in Las Vegas now pay less than 3 to 2. In my opinion, only games that pay 3 to 2 deserve to be called "blackjack," the rest fall under "21" games, including Super Fun 21 and Spanish 21. As shown in my blackjack section, the house edge is lowered 0.01% under the seven-card Charlie rule, 0.16% under a six-card Charlie rule, and 1.46% under a five-card Charlie rule. The following table shows the strategy for hitting, standing, and doubling.
